skribb
A Norwegian platform for publishing and selling online, built on Cloudflare.
What it is
One account can run every product on one publication: a Publikasjon, a newsletter blog with paid subscriptions; a Nyhetsbrev, a list you write to; a Nettsted, a designed website; a Nettbutikk, a shop; and a Domene, a .no address that skribb sells as its own Norid registrar.
Two packages, Skribb Litt and Skribb Mer, are priced once for every line, with add-ons beside them. Creators write everything in one dashboard on skribb.no, and readers have their own home at les.skribb.no.
How it works
- Every publication gets
<handle>.skribb.no, served by its own Worker in a Workers for Platforms namespace, with its own D1 database and R2 bucket. - One dispatcher Worker owns the whole zone and sends each request to the hub, the API, a publication or a custom domain.
- The hub is Next.js on Workers through vinext. A public API and an MCP server sit beside it, and the iOS and Android app is a client of that same API.
- Creators get paid through Stripe Connect direct charges. Mail goes out through a queue-buffered sender and comes in through Email Routing.
- Domains are registered at Norid over EPP, through a small bridge service on its own server.
